Brian is a seasoned musician with 44 years of experience playing and performing, and 26 years of teaching experience. He is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee School of Music and has taught music at Grady High School. In addition to teaching, Brian is the bandleader and guitar player for Sweetwater Junction, The Billy Batts Jazz Quartet, and is a sought-after hired gun for many different bands. He also performs studio sessions and production work for various artists and bands. 

Brian is an accomplished songwriter, having sold songs to well-known companies such as Microsoft, Home Depot, and Deloitte and Touche. His songs have also been featured in TV shows and professional sporting events, including NASCAR, NBA, MLB, NFL, and NHL. 

Brian is passionate about fostering the creativity and talent of young musicians. He offers guitar lessons at his home in Roswell, GA and at Maple Street Guitars. His students range from beginners to advanced levels, and he is well-equipped to teach a variety of subjects, including performance, theory, songwriting, improv, sight reading, ear training, and technology. He is patient and easy to work with, making him an excellent choice for both adults and children looking to learn the guitar.
